The TikTok U.S. ban plot thickens... 👀 A new report from The Information says that TikTok is building M2, which is a new U.S.-only version of the app that will launch on September 5th, 2025 - right before its ban deadline on September 17th. If the rumors are true, American users would have to download this new app to keep using TikTok, before the current app leaves U.S. app stores and stops working in March 2026. The White House is apparently restarting its discussions with China this week about a possible TikTok deal, but The Information reports that it's unclear if this new app is a part of these negotiations or totally separate. Our recommendation: sit tight and keep posting as usual.
